Major Fire at Widnes Recycling Centre - 25 Fire Engines Battle Huge Blaze 🚒🔥

A Major Fire Started at Frescos Recycling Centre on Everite Road on St Micheal’s Industrial Estate in Widnes after 700 Tones of Carboard caught fire after a vape battery exploded. Initially Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service sent 8 Fire Engines and when the OIC of the first truck arrived on scene he immediately asked for every single free appliance in the county of Cheshire to be sent to the incident. At the Height of the Incident there were 25 Appliances including Specialist Appliance like High Volume pump, Hose Layer, Aerial Ladder Platform, Water Bowser, Drone Unit, Command Unit and Welfare Unit Also in attendance were Northwest Ambulance Service Hazardous Area Response Team, Multiple ambulance crews were on standby for fire service personal and public potential injuries.
