RAW INTERVIEW: Mother of 7-year-old homicide victim talks about son

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WHAS 11)-- A 7-year-old boy, identified as Dequante William Lamarr Hobbs Jr. by the Jefferson County Coroner's office, was shot and killed in Louisville Sunday night. Dequante was shot inside a home on the 2100 block of West Madison Street near the corner of Dr. W.J. Hodges which is in the Russell Neighborhood. Police responded just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The Louisville Metro Police Department says a fight broke out behind the boy's home. At one point during the fight, a gun was pulled and at least one shot was fired.
