Lean On Me - Sheridan Brass

Lean On Me – Sheridan Brass There are some songs that feel even more powerful when you sing them far from home, and Lean On Me is one of them. I filmed this during my first-ever gig in Africa, right on the banks of the Zambezi River inside the Zambezi National Park. With Victoria Falls and the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge not too far behind us, it was already surreal… but nature had its own plans. Throughout the shoot, we could hear hippos calling out from the water, echoing from the river - a constant reminder that we were deep in the wild. And somewhere in the back of my mind was the very real thought that a crocodile could surface at any moment, which definitely added a layer of intensity (and adrenaline!) to the performance. To top it all off, the Zambezi was at an incredibly high level, making this one of the most powerful and dramatic flows Victoria Falls has seen in years. You could feel the energy of the water in the air - raw, loud, and alive. Different place. Same message. We all need somebody to lean on. If this moved you, like, share, and subscribe - it helps me keep bringing you music from around the world. More stories. More music. More places coming soon!
