6/17 - Live from the Lair 306 w Rebecca Berlin

This will be Rebecca's 6th appearance in the Lair, but she's been here a LOT more often. She recorded the vocals for her most recent album, Questions and Answers here, and when it turned out we work really well together, we went ahead and mixed and mastered it here too. And this Lairmad Lass KEEPS coming back! I'm grateful for her. First a regular on the VOM, then a frequent player at the Takoma Spark, Rebecca Berlin is a singer/songwriter with intelligently-crafted, insightful songs about relationships and Love, Life and growing older - these are the "guitar girl" songs for grownups - with a familiar voice that harkens back to the passionate agility of Tori Amos, and a newness that perhaps comes from her decade-plus break from the music scene. Almost every Wednesday at 7pm ET since March of 2020 ilyAIMY has gone Live from the Lair. Sometimes we're chatty, sometimes we're just here to play. Sometimes it's the whole band, and sometimes we have guests, and one time it was just rob. You never know what you're going to get - but chime in on the chat and let us know you're there.
