Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is the latest entry in the long-running Ghostbusters franchise, which first began with the original back in 1984. Since then it has spawned everything from sequels to remakes, an animated series and now this new set of almost soft-reboots that started with Ghostbusters: Afterlife in 2021. Despite the series’ many ups and downs, for a lot of people, Frozen Empire is a new low. From being the lowest, or occasionally second lowest, reviewed across all platforms and an abysmal box office performance, with it currently, as of the recording of this video, sitting as the grossing of them all by about 4 or 5 million.
