【タイ】チェンマイ初日の夜、なぜか日本食で乾杯してしまう🤣

This is a report on the first day of our trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. We started our trip from Iwate, via Osaka, and arrived safely in Chiang Mai, Thailand. First, we took a taxi from the airport to our hotel in the Old Town. Although there were three of us traveling this time, we each stayed in a different building. Our first stop was the Mae Ya Shopping Center (MAYA) in the Nimmanhaemin district. We had the classic Khao Man Gai and a mango smoothie at the food court. Afterwards, we took a short stroll around the nearby area, which recreates a Japanese townscape, and then went for a massage to relieve our travel fatigue. For 300 baht per hour, we each received a foot massage and a back/shoulder massage. In the evening, we returned to our hotel and walked a short distance to Wat Phra Singh to see just the exterior. The illuminated temple was truly beautiful. We strolled around the nearby Sunday Night Market, browsing souvenirs, and enjoying the typical Chiang Mai night atmosphere. In the evening, we took a Grab bus and went to Chiang Mai Hormone for yakiniku and drinks. Even though we were in Thailand, we had Japanese-style yakiniku and sake, but we still toasted to our safe arrival in Chiang Mai.
