Exposição "O Chão que Piso" da artista Nina de Souza-Lima no Centro Cultural da UFMG 🇧🇷

🇧🇷 The UFMG Cultural Center, located at Avenida Santos Dumont, 174, Centro, Belo Horizonte/MG, presents the solo exhibition "The Ground I Walk On," by artist Nina de Souza-Lima. The show brings together a series of paintings that investigate shadow as the protagonist of the image and the aesthetic experience. The works result from formal research on the shadow projection of a rustic bridge made of planks and ropes, observed in Parque das Mangabeiras, in Belo Horizonte. From this everyday element, the artist develops a visual poetics in which light, rhythm, color, line, and point are articulated to trace the path taken by the shadow. The event can be visited from May 22, 2026 to June 28, 2026. Admission is free and open to all ages.
