Fighting to breathe in Emalahleni: South Africa's coal problem
Power cuts are common in South Africa and to solve the shortage the government is building more power stations. But with growing dependence on coal-fired power stations, environmental groups say the government's lack of commitment to renewable energy is to blame for the worsening quality of air. From Emalahleni, one of the world's most polluted cities, Al Jazeera's Fahmida Miller reports.
