Biwak na dziko i Gulasz na ognisku | Gorce i ich magiczny klimat | Pomysł na jesienny weekend

Autumn, a wonderful time of year full of colour and beautiful natural circumstances. At the weekend, the weather promised to be perfect. Sunshine, good visibility, light gusts of wind. I packed my rucksack and set off. Without thinking long, I took the direction of the mixed forests near the meadows of Gorce. I crossed windy passes, after a while entering a forest road into a dense beech and fir forest. I chose one of the Gorce mountain pastures as a bivouac site, where the old climate of meadows with a beautiful view of the snow-capped Tatra Mountains was preserved. Due to the rather strong southerly wind, I set up my tarp low, behind the cover of an aspen tree growing nearby. The bivouac site gave me abundant access to calorific and dry beech wood. I prepared the hearth with large stones to create a kind of stone oven. Above the hearth, I laid out a tripod tied with a chain. I lit the fire using resin wood and a flint. For dinner, I decided to cook a stew of chicken hearts in vegetable stock. I prepared the dish for almost three hours. To the broth of celery, parsley, carrots, leek and onions, I added chicken hearts sautéed with mushrooms, garlic and onions. I cooked the whole thing for a while longer in the pot without a lid. Finally, I added a thick dill bud to the pot. The dish came out perfectly! As dusk fell, I lit a paraffin lamp and prepared tea from wild blueberries and spruce branches. It was time for sleep. My lair was exceptionally comfortable. The next day the weather was even more beautiful. A view of the Tatras, the sound of the wind in the treetops. When I had finished admiring the views I lit a campfire. Breakfast was beans in tomato sauce. I also boiled tea with spruce branches. Taking a moment to rest, it was time to head back. I cleaned up the bivouac site so as not to leave a trail behind. I folded the tarp and packed my rucksack. It was a very successful autumn camping trip.
