Quintino, Moksi, Sephyx, Olly James and Ryan & Vin all lend their unique talents to this collection, transporting ‘Mad World’ through a series of different tones and ideas, and elevating the tune beyond EDM and into brand new territory. Quntino’s heavy blast-beat reimagining is followed by a forward thinking future-house interpretation from Dutch duo Moksi, whilst Sephyx reinvents the track as a hardstyle odyssey. Olly James and Ryan & Vin complete the set with a groove heavy, rhythm focussed remix, before an exquisite acoustic version of the original sees in the new year with introspective style. It goes without saying that Hardwell’s 2016 looks to be even bigger than the previous, but the same can be sad for all of those involved in this remix compilation.
