Cheap Bike Build-Off 2026 - Final Stretchhhhh

In this video I complete my 2026 Cheap Bike Build-Off of a late-1980's Diamond Back Fleet Streak modded with an 7-speed internal hub. Huge shout out to ‪@mull3tmechanic‬ for starting this invigorating contest. This contest really helps shake off those winter doldrums and I am super grateful it exists. My estimated budget comes out to exactly $175 (breakdown at the end). I definitely splurged on the pedals. I will be putting a longer more modern seatpost on this in the future because I am maxing out the current seatpost and still need another 2".
