Today we're taking you on an exciting drive along Crete's northern motorway (VOAK) – from Georgioupoli to Kavros. Several new pedestrian bridges are currently under construction there, significantly improving safety for residents, students, and tourists. We'll also take a look at the large construction site in Kavros, where the infrastructure is undergoing extensive modernization. According to the latest reports, a total of five new pedestrian bridges are being built on the Georgioupoli–Kavros section. This construction project is part of the comprehensive modernization of the VOAK. Completion of this section is currently scheduled for the end of 2025. Let's see if they manage it in a month.
