I just received my fifth FORZA, the MF17E. Since I'm here, I'd like to share my impressions. First, I'll cover the changes in this model, the full LCD meter, and basic operation! They say that modern bikes don't require too much effort when breaking in, but even so, there are still noticeable differences in engine revs, lifespan over time, and other individual differences when comparing bikes of the same model. As a Showa-era biker, I'm used to giving my bikes a thorough break-in. I'll definitely do this as a ritual for new bikes. Maybe I'll write my impressions of their performance after that? Of course, breaking in isn't just for the engine. It also includes the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain. We once had an event where dozens of the same model gathered on a closed course to compare them, but acceleration times and top speeds were all over the place. The individual differences were so great that I wondered if they were really the same bike. That's why I can't just test ride a borrowed bike and get an impression of what a particular model is like. After all, a manufacturer's PR car and a rental bike are completely different. I'll be taking these things into consideration when I write my riding impressions.
