This town, which once flourished as a castle town, is now famous for its "toy town" and "kanpyo (dried gourd strips) production." The fresh greenery was lush, and it was a truly pleasant place to ride. Here are the spots I visited this time: Menju Tomonoya My target restaurant was unexpectedly closed (lol), but I found this place on the spur of the moment and had their "Rich Chicken Ramen." The clear soup and unique thin noodles were a perfect combination, making it an exquisite bowl that I wanted to drink down to the last drop! Okoto Shrine It was a very impressive and well-maintained, solemn shrine. The stream flowing around the shrine and the scenery along the Kurokawa River behind it are very refreshing, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing post-meal break. Matsuya, a Japanese confectionery shop: A long-established Japanese confectionery shop with a magnificent storefront. This time, I got country-style manju, strawberry dorayaki, and warabi mochi in a cute container! They all look delicious, and I can't wait to eat them at home. Bonbonne, a cream puff specialty shop: A Western-style confectionery shop with a charming atmosphere. I bought their most popular caramel-coated cream puffs and strawberry florentines. I was a little nervous going in alone as an older man, but I'm glad I stopped by! A relaxing motorcycle trip to Mibu Town, where I was soothed by the peaceful scenery, delicious food, and beautiful shrine. I hope this video conveys some of the charm of Mibu Town.
