I hope this tutorial helps you make some cute DIY calligraphy or brush lettered place cards for weddings, birthdays, holidays, celebrations, and formal events! 1) Write slowly and steadily to avoid having to pencil or trace out the name 2) Take. Your. Time. Speed brings mistakes, so SLOW down. 3) Make sure to double or triple check the spelling of each name so you don’t come out with a beautifully written name that’s spelled incorrectly! 4) Don't be too worried about spacing! Be okay with little imperfections! 5) Don’t be too critical! Don’t compare your handwritten cards to a certain font or a printed card. Your place cards most likely will NOT look perfect, and that is completely okay! 6) Be creative! In this video, I used folded 4x6 index cards for my place cards, and I wrote with hard tip and soft tip Tombow fudenosuke brush pens.
