We went to a football match in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with my colleague. Since we work on the railway, we used FIP passes, so it turned into a train road trip. Traveling overnight across Europe and several cancelled trains made the journey significantly more difficult. Whether and how we eventually made it there, you’ll see in the video – the story of a 1500 km journey that took 21 hours. We started in Bratislava-Petržalka, because the train from Vienna main station simply didn’t show up. From Vienna we continued towards Munich, and then to Frankfurt. There, another train was cancelled, and we had to spend the whole night waiting at the station with homeless people. From there we continued to Amsterdam, with a transfer in Utrecht, and finally reached Rotterdam Centraal station as the half-point of our journey.
