Request a song: http://symphonymermaid.idea.informer.com --- soooo this is a song that I put on a poll a while back and a lot of people voted for it! it came in first and since it's also nice and low (and my voice is still recovering), I figured I would give it a shot. Honestly it was a song I didn't really know how to approach? The normal choice would've been to power through but I don't think that the power I typically use goes well with a song like this, where it's supposed to be seductive. So I went for a mix of that. I hope that's okay. I'm really nervous to upload this because of how unsatisfied I am with the mix and my microphone deciding to freak out on me a bit, but I figured despite the circumstances I did my best with the material given (I rerecorded this entire thing four times because my mic was making me so angry like holy hell it's not even high but after singing that much while sick my voice was like 'yeah can you stop')? So I want to justify my uploading this in that sense. Maybe I'm just overanalyzing everything (as usual), but I never want to be anything less than you would expect of me. Oh! On the day I'm writing this, it is June 16th. You'll probably be seeing this post on the 27th (would've done the 26th but it felt weird to upload a song using Luka on Gumi's birthday... I'm sorry Gumi I didn't have enough time to record a second song to celebrate your birthday I'll make up for it later).
