Withdrawl Babies AKA Neonatal Abstience Syndrome

This video takes a deep dive on the topic of neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) through the lens of a character named Jane and her baby Bella. NAS is a condition in which the fetus is exposed to certain substances, most prominently opioids, during pregnancy which leads to withdrawal symptoms in newborns. The purpose of this video is to educate expecting or future mothers about NAS as it has a plethora of implications for the baby. This video navigates through what NAS is and how it impacts the mother/baby before birth, after birth, and throughout child development. The end goal is to highlight that prevention is better than a cure.
