In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet helicopter applique. If you would like to view the crochet pattern for free, it's on my website at https://kerriscrochet.com/crochet-hel... or you can download it from Ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr... for $1 at and LoveCrafts at https://www.lovecrafts.com/en-gb/p/ca... You can also subscribe to Kerri's Crochet Newsletter and get a free copy of the Crochet Cat Towel eBook at https://www.kerriscrochet.com/crochet... For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (115) Hot Red, (201) Electric Blue, (393) Charcoal, (173) Bluebell and a tiny bit of (106) Snow White for around the windows if desired. A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the helicopter together. The finished size will be 14.5cm x 12cm (5.5” x 4.75”) for the larger helicopter, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the helicopter in Catona will be 14cm x 9.5cm (5.5” x 3.75”). The medium helicopter will be 10cm x 8cm (4” x 3”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small helicopter will be 8cm x 5.5cm (3” x 2”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
