Flat roof overlay systems In this video we show how we use the Duro last commercial roofing system to overlay and existing flat roof. The flat roof on this sonic had been installed over 20 year ago and had developed small leaks in several places. However the leaks were not enough to saturate the existing roof insulation and all the wood decking was in great shape. We recommended a Flat roof overlay. The Duro Last roofing system is a great product for recovers and overlays and by overlaying an existing flat roof, the building owner is able to save the cost and disruption of a full tear off. Besides the cost savings, flat roof overlays are fast and keep a building up and running during the recover process. This job was a .50 mil PVC membrane with custom fabricated parapet wall sheets.
