Christmas Message – Isaiah 9:2–7 | Luke 1:1–20 (2:1–20) “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.” (Isaiah 9:2) This Christmas, we remember that God’s light shines brightest in times of darkness. Isaiah spoke to a people burdened by fear, injustice, and uncertainty, promising that a child would be born who would bring peace, justice, and hope. Centuries later, Luke tells us how this promise was fulfilled in Jesus Christ—born humbly in Bethlehem, announced not to kings but to shepherds. Christmas reminds us that God enters our broken world quietly, faithfully, and powerfully. Jesus is the Light who brings peace to troubled hearts, hope to weary souls, and joy to all who receive Him. May the Prince of Peace reign in our homes, churches, and communities this Christmas and always. Merry Christmas and God bless you all. — Rev. Samuel Khot Majok
