Revisiting Sideways
Five years after "Blanc or Noir", I add some more analysis to this amazing movie. It's based on a novel by Rex Pickett and the stories between the novel and movie are almost the same. However, the nuances director Alexander Payne brought out of the novel to put into the movie puts Sideways in rarified air being a movie with more depth than the novel that inspired it.
