京都の方が暑いのに…フランスの夏の方が辛い本当の理由

Next week, I'm going back to France with my daughter. A heatwave is predicted in France right around that time. "Kyoto is hotter, so France must be easier, right?" Actually, having lived in Kyoto for over 10 years, I don't think so. Kyoto certainly has harsh temperatures and humidity. But in Japan, there are many places where you can "recover" from the heat.
