20240114 Nampo Church Sunday Service Sermon Genesis 3:1-10 1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. He asked the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden?’” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden.” 3 But God said, “You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, nor must you touch it, lest you die.” 4 The serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.” 5 For God does know that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like gods, knowing good and evil. 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons. 8 They On that day, when the cool of the day came, the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden. And the man and his wife hid from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” #OldTestamentRevisited #God’sFaithfulness #FreedomOfChoice
