PAKISTAN MILITARY ACADEMY - The Cradle of Leadership

Commissioned by the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in January 2013, RAM's inimitable team was entrusted with making a Promo video for PMA. The shoot took over 1 year in the scenic valley of Kakul in Abbottabad portraying how life is in the Military Academy. PMA is not only an institution but is an Alma Mater; the beacon which has guided great leaders to the path of integrity, honour and valour through history. This is where they were moulded in the cast that bears the mark of distinction and glory. To train and prepare selected youth for the defence of the motherland is, indeed, a singular honour and a service to the nation, which the Academy is rendering in a highly professional and efficient manner since Pakistan's independence in 1947. Established at Kakul in October 1947 soon after the creation of Pakistan as a premier military institution, PMA takes immense pride in its history. It is the only institution in Pakistan which was honoured by Quaid-i-Azam with the unique distinction of becoming its first Colonel-in-Chief who also graciously endowed PMA with the title ''Quaid-i-Azam's Own''. The historical development of PMA is not a mere tabulation of past events. It is in fact, the story of the mother institution of the officers' cadre of the Pakistan Army. It is an historical account of an arduous journey illuminated with struggle and achievements. It is homage to those pioneers who worked with a vision and passion to transform a dream into reality and a home of those heroes and martyrs who proved themselves worth of the honour and trust reposed in them by a great nation. PMA's Mission: To foster and inculcate those attributes in cadets which ensure their progressive and continuous development as regular officers in Pakistan Army. Objectives: To achieve this mission, Academy has outlined certain objectives that are the prime pillars, upon which rests the process of professional grooming. These are: Character Building, Military Training, Leadership Training, Physical Development and Intellectual Enrichment.
