Simultaneously, we offer an opportunity for freelance musicians to perform in this period when many concerts are cancelled. Born in Stockholm, Gothenburger since 1992. Composes music in a former coke tower in the old harbour area Nya Varvet. Timing and text are key words in both opera creating, works for orchestra and choir, solo and ensemble and music for TV and radio. In 1984, Paula and her friend Bjarne Nyquist "splashed gravel" in the Swedish song contest with Rendez-Vous - written as a joke. Important works (selection) The debut opera Bombpartyt, the radio opera Hittekvinnan, the music for SVT's Christmas calendar En decemberdröm, Criança (choral work commissioned by the Royal Academy of Music for H.M. Queen Silvia's 70th birthday) the choral works Äggen är slut och Hjässan är kal and The Gothenburg Opera's commissioned work Mytomania, whose world premiere would have taken place on February 20, 2021. Paula received the City of Gothenburg Badge of Merit 2018, is a member of the Royal Academy of Music, the Swedish society of composers, FST and Sweden's composers and lyricists, SKAP. She is one of the initiators of the Kalv festival and Frontside Gothenburg International Chamber Music Festival. She loves to sing. And play. And talk.
