The Mr. Men and Little Miss: A Job for Little Miss Risette ❣️ Little Miss Risette is always smiling! But one day, her smile disappeared. How can she get it back? They're small, and there are many of them: the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters have strong personalities! Each one has their own story, full of humor and mischief. "Mr. Men" is a series of children's books written and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves (1935-1988). Originally called Monsieur Bonhomme in France, as it consisted exclusively of male protagonists, the series was later renamed when it expanded to include female characters. Aimed at very young readers, each book, spanning a few pages, presents the humorous adventures of a different character, identified by a particular characteristic (Mr. Slow, Mr. Tall, Little Miss Neat, etc.) and drawn in a very simple and brightly colored style. The series comprises 98 stories (51 Mr. Men, 47 Little Miss). The first character in the series was Tickle, an orange man with long, winding arms who tickles everyone. Roger Hargreaves is said to have drawn him to explain to his son, Adam, what a tickle feels like. After Roger Hargreaves' death in 1988, his son Adam continued his father's work with Six new characters. In France, the "Mr. Men and Little Miss" series has been published by Hachette Jeunesse since May 1983 and was initially known as the "Bonhomme Collection." In 2010, two "Mr. Men and Little Miss" comic books, written and illustrated by Jérôme Eho and published by Jungle, were released: Tickle Mr. and the Ghosts and *Little Miss Chatterbox and Prince Charming*.
