Rare Tap Holder Restoration | Mister Patina

I purchased this Tap Holder online to give it a nice restoration. It didnt work properly, since the chucks of the Tap Holder were pretty rusty and stuck. So I disassembled it in every part and started the restoration. Goal of this restoration was a nice Satin Shine finish on the metal parts and to let some signs of history on the wooden parts. After hours of filing, sanding and finishing i gave every metal part a nice nickel plating. The wooden parts were finished with some linseed oil. I made some small parts offcam, for example some pins, springs and a wooden block for closing the end of the handle. When the restoration of this old Tap Holder was done, it worked perfectly fine again. You might can see some small parts with a little bit of rust on it - dont worry, this rust is a result of the cold bluing and will disappear by adding some grease. I hope you like it!
