What I've Been Reading in 2026

I've always enjoyed reading, but this year I've made a real effort to work through some classic literature. In this video I look back at the books I've read so far in 2026, including: Les Misérables – Victor Hugo My Cousin Rachel – Daphne du Maurier Agnes Grey – Anne Brontë The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie – Muriel Spark I also talk about the books I'm currently reading: Moby-Dick – Herman Melville In Search of Lost Time – Marcel Proust I discuss what I enjoyed, what surprised me, and which book has been my favourite read of the year so far. If you enjoy classic literature, book collecting, or simply hearing about great books, I hope you enjoy the discussion.
