The Avantis digital mixer is a powerful tool for many settings. Features: One amazing feature is the 15.6 inch touch screen. A lot of the key controls are now touch and have a backlight which makes it much easier to see. You can change the LED strip from white to purple and it’s now placed in the armrest to reduce glare. You can also dim the LED lights for optimal viewing. There are 2 banks with 12 faders, and they are completely configurable with 6 layers on each bank. Allen & Heath’s strip assign functionality allows you to easily drag and drop your channels and assign them to a fader. With 144 control points for faders there are endless options. There are also 24 soft keys on the Avantis that can be completely customized to whatever your needs are, with functions from delay tap tempo to scene control. On the front of the Avantis is a USB socket for saving or loading show files, firmware updates, or stereo playback and recording. Next to the USB you’ll find an ⅛” and ¼” jack for your headphones. The Avantis really shines with their selection of sound effects, including 12 stereo effects like reverbs, chorus, and echos. You also have the option of the D-pack upgrade with access to premium effects. Let the hardware do some of the heavy lifting thanks to the Auto Mic Mixer (AMM). Load up to 64 channels into the AMM, and protect against feedback in multiple mic settings. Along the back of the Avantis console you’ll find 2 I/O ports, 12 mic line inputs, 12 outputs, AES connections, a word clock connection, S-link port. Plus there is network access for wifi and a spot for another USB input. It’s a powerful console that can be used for houses of worship, theaters, or production companies.
