We’ll pass the majestic Mihai Eminescu Central University Library and the Students' Culture House right before reaching the prestigious Alexandru Ioan Cuza University. ​Heading back down the other side of the boulevard, we’ll catch a glimpse of the charming Children's Palace (Palatul Copiilor). Next, we cross the bridge at Mihai Eminescu Passage to explore the bohemian Lăpușneanu Street, where you can see the Union Museum and the iconic Corso Terrace restaurant. ​From Union Square (Piața Unirii), we stroll down the pedestrianized Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard to admire the breathtaking Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre—voted by the BBC in 2015 as the second most beautiful theatre on the globe! Right next to its gorgeous park, we'll view the massive Metropolitan Cathedral. ​Finally, we reach the ultimate emblem of the city: the magnificent Palace of Culture.
