On the one hand, it's already obvious to everyone: relying on a state pension isn't worth it. Pension reforms are underway around the world, and the retirement age is rising. This is pension systems' response to objective demographic facts: the elderly are growing in number, living longer, and providing EVERYONE with a decent pension is an impossible task. On the other hand, it's unlikely that any country in the world will see a sudden and abrupt abolition. It would be too much of a shock for the population. Most likely, pensions will be abolished gradually, little by little, with ever-increasing restrictions being introduced. I offer you a seven-step scenario for how pensions could be gradually abolished in our country. I don't claim to have the full story, just my prediction.
