How to do Net Control with Dave - WØDDZ
The Northern Colorado Amateur Radio Clubs alternative net control operator does the NCARC Wednesday club net so you can see how it is done. This was the net from February 28th. The net control stations purpose is to organize and streamline communications so we can be as effective as possible when we need to communicate. Without a Net Control Station effective communication would impossible. For the regulars on this repeater think about how often you hear the term “That was a double” on a day to day basis. Net control at times also needs to manage and prioritize messages and resources. Nets like these give amateur operators the opportunities to establish, learn, and practice systems to effectively accomplish the goals of the net. We want to give you the tools and opportunities to learn these skills, so if you’re interested in Net Control, please let us know how we can help.
