Several microdistricts and settlements grew up around the tire factory: Krotova, Krasnopolye, Mirny, Tsarskoe Selo, 12th quarter and the settlement of Korea. Many people worked at the tire factory, and even in independent Ukraine it was the leader in tire production and not only in Ukraine but in the entire CIS. But the crisis of 2008 made itself felt, and the tire factory began to slowly fade away. Now the tire factory is almost not functioning, and it is slowly being dismantled and sawed up for scrap metal! Also on the balance sheet of the tire factory is a clinic and a fire department! These places are also abandoned now. And here is what Novosti Dnepra writes about the Tire Plant: "Dneproshina" (Dnepropetrovsk Tire Plant) is a plant for the production of tires and rubber products, located in Dnepr. In 1956, the construction of the Dnepropetrovsk Tire Plant began. In 1961, the first stage of the plant was put into operation, in 1962 - the workshop for the production of solid tires was put into operation. The Dneproshina plant, which began its history in the distant 1956, looks special. Over the years, it has survived more than one government, remembered how the economy developed and how industrial giants fell into decline. In November 2008, due to the socio-economic situation in the country, production practically ceased, and most of the workers were sent on unpaid leave for an indefinite period.
