WHAT IS ADAPTIVE CLOTHING?

I applaud Tommy Hilgfiger's leadership in being the first mainstream clothing brand to enter this market. And even though these clothes cost way more to make because of the adaptive additions and because the scale is so small, the adaptive pieces are priced the same as their non-adaptive counterparts. Which is to say, I'm sure Tommy is losing money on this. But they're doing it, as far as I can tell, because it's the right thing to do. It's a statement about Tommy's values. And hopefully, in the long run, as more people learn about and purchase adaptive clothing, and as more brands at all price points enter the market, everyone can win: People will be able to buy adaptive clothing at all price points from luxury to economy, and the scale will mean that it makes good business sense for brands, too. We aren't there yet, obviously. Which is why I like to be able to spread the word about awesome stuff like this as a Tommy Partner.
