Her Rich Family LOOKS DOWN on Her POOR Fiance

Marissa and Edward are hosting a family lunch and Edward is about to find out exactly what he signed up for. Marissa's rich family arrive and from the jump, you can feel the judgment. Her mom hugs him, smiles, says all the right things, then proceeds to make him feel like he's not even close to good enough. She grills him, tells him talk is cheap, and basically lets him know she's already planning for when this relationship falls apart. Edward has been nothing but nice to Marissa, her kids and her family and yet they treat him like he's auditioning for a role he'll never get. As for Marissa? She watches it all happen and says nothing. If anything, she actually joins in and makes things worse by a) making Edward get up out of his chair for her then b) criticising his "macho" response for why he loves her. Honestly Edward, her ex husband tried to warn you - I'm not sure you listened... and something tells me this is only the beginning!
