Following Steep Ravine Trail through Redwood Forest | Marin, California

A morning walk on fern lined Steep Ravine Trail through redwood forest in Marin County, California. This trail one of the more popular North Bay hikes, understandably so with so many majestic trees, birdsong, and and gentle stream flowing through the valley. The trail connects to the Matt Davis trail that winds along a coastal ridge and drops down to the small town of Stinson Beach. My audio recorder batteries didn't have enough juice to make it down the trail so the video ends up in the hills this morning. On the way down to Stinson I saw a rabbit and a few deer, a doe and fawn that trotted away from me and a nonchalant buck who grazed from the trail and only slowly moved away as I passed.
