ACE Trains A4 DC Demo on Rolling Road for I.B.
This is another of my Rolling Roads just completed by me and on test with one of my clients loco's running in DC mode which I have just serviced being a ACE Trains approved Service Agent. This unit has been designed to run both Steam & Diesel loco's the Diesel demo'S (ACE Deltic and Warship) coarse scale appearing in separate video's following this both being controlled by a external DCC Controller these being my own loco's all of which I run on DCC. The Rolling Road has its own in built DC Controller and is primarily intended for running steam locomotives in either 2 or 3 rail modes. It also has a built in chuffer unit cab ne adjusted ti sync the chuff rate with wheel rotation + a beat rate simulator for 2 or 3 cylinder chuffing sounds. It also has tone controls for Treble & Bass in addition to Volume the sounds eminating from a speaker mounted in the base along with a cooling fan combied with a cold air intake port. Another feature is a dimable multi colout Light Bar to illuminate the valve gear and loco in general. One can also have up to 10 x 2min switch selectable sound sources i.e. whistles, station announcements etc which can be custom programmed to suite locomotives and for example stations and destinations of your choice etc. A major feature is the incorporation of Volt and Amp meters which is a good indicator of a locomotives electrical performance when compared to a good known similar source. The internal power supply is a solid state 24v x 4a multi input AC voltage 50/60HZ unit making it suitable for use in many countries. On the back panel there is a I.E.C. Mains Input Socket, a manually resettable 5a circuit breaker, spring loaded terminals for feeding track voltage to a external layout and a RCA Phono Socket for connecting the units sounds to a external amplifier.
