Mönch & Gross Fiescherhorn - August 2016 Switzerland.

Trip report: http://www.alpinetrails.co.uk/monch-a... Arrived at the Jungfraujoch in the afternoon on a thunderstorm. The security guard let us go on our own risk. The trail to Mönchsjoch Hut is marked and man made. Solo climb on Mönch SE ridge - for descent I decided to join the Czech climbers (on the summit) as the snow started to melt and rocks became slippery. Very fun little climb. Just a tricky section before the summit ridge. Left next day for Gross Fiescherhorn NW ridge with the same Czech party. Had to turn back just below the summit due to very bad weather. 3rd day was crystal clear but had to be in Zermatt so Jungfrau is still on my wishlist.
