"Transforming architecture with transformable spaces" with Ar. Chris Precht

"Architecture is not static," quotes Architect Precht with spaces that transform themselves along with their functions. A music hall in China welcomes the audience into the show through its openable facades and closes itself while not in use, this dynamic action of architecture transforms innovation in the interiors too, just like in the Bauhaus Museum in Dessau. Along with being flexible just like the current generation, architecture should be able to grow to be flexible for the future generation, it should grow along with you - from a room for you to a house with your girlfriend, and, a home for your kids followed by an office and back to being a smaller space once you retire! Architect Chris Precht rooted in authenticity practices with his wife Fei in the mountains of Salzburg, Austria. Envisioning a cross-culture approach and a desire to learn is the driving force for Chris and Fei through the design process. He is about giving lectures, discussing passionately the architecture industry, and think about future visions. He firmly believes that architecture can be an aid to the ever-growing population and be more than just a consuming island in the city. Buildings should be a part of the productive grid and should be able to give back to the surrounding and to the community. 61st Zonal NASA Convention Zone 6 - "Enigma" hosted by Eranad Knowledge City College of Architecture from 20 - 22 September 2019.
