Highway 1 | Sonoma Coast, Bodega Bay & Moto Therapy | ECATV

FLASHBACK June 24, 2025 . PART 2 OF 4 OF THE BEST DAY EVER SERIES! . HIGHWAY 1. . The goal for the day was simple. . Hop on the motorcycle, ride some of my favorite backroads through Sonoma County, cross over the mountains, and make my way out to Highway 1 for some ocean air and incredible Sonoma Coast views. . This ride starts with a rip through some of my favorite roads in Sonoma County before dropping down onto the coast. . First stop: Schoolhouse Beach. . One of my favorite spots along the Sonoma Coast. . From there, it was a cruise through Bodega Bay with a stop at The Boathouse for what I think are some of the best fish and chips in the bay. . Next stop: Patrick’s Saltwater Taffy. . An iconic local stop that has been serving up saltwater taffy and sweet treats for generations. . Then it was time to stop by The Tides. . One of the most recognizable landmarks in Bodega Bay. . The town of Bodega Bay and nearby Bodega became famous as filming locations for Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie, The Birds. . No trip through town feels complete without stopping by. . Next stop: The Casino Bar & Grill in the town of Bodega. . Home to some of the best quick, inexpensive double cheeseburgers around. . I’ve been known to put down three-plus double cheeseburgers in one sitting here. 😂🍔 . Good food. . Good roads. . Good views. . Good vibes. . Exactly what a motorcycle day should be. .
