FAITH WITH WORKS | IMANI YA MATENDO
#FAITH_WITH_WORKS | #IMANI_YA_MATENDO ~ #THURSDAY_28_MAY_2026 Having faith is a noble thing, but faith can be directed in the wrong way. Some people develop a negative faith—a deep belief that nothing good will ever happen to them. They expect failure, hopelessness, and disappointment, and their actions begin to reflect those expectations. Such thinking robs a person of hope and trust in God's promises. True faith is confidence in God's power, goodness, and faithfulness. It is not merely believing with the mind but also responding with actions that demonstrate trust in Him. As Scripture teaches, faith without works is dead. When we believe God is able, we take steps of obedience, trusting Him to guide and provide for us. "And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? #Mark2:4-7[kjv] Therefore, let us reject negative beliefs and place our faith in God. Let our actions reflect our trust in His mighty power, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. Faith with works is believing God's promises and taking the next step in obedience, trusting Him for the outcome. The woman did not give up when Jesus remained silent at first or when the disciples wanted her sent away. She continued to seek Him with humility and determination. Genuine faith remains steadfast even during trials and delays. When Jesus said, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs," the woman responded humbly, acknowledging her unworthiness while trusting in His mercy. She did not argue or become offended but appealed to His compassion (See #Matthew15:21-28). "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." — James 1:22. Listen to this sermon by the Servant of God #Ismael_Mwadzombo_Rimba and rest assured, God will meet your heart desires. Prayer: Lord, give me a heart that is eager to hear Your Word and willing to obey it. Let Your Word transform my life, guide my steps, and align me with Your favor. Help me not only to be a hearer but also a faithful doer, that Your name may be glorified through my life. Amen.
