Plié: a base de todo o ballet (Royal Academy)
The plié is one of the most important exercises in ballet. It appears from the earliest levels and remains present throughout a dancer's training. In this video, teacher Luana Dias explains the Grade 2 plié from the Royal Academy of Dance, showing the technical points that develop posture, alignment, and control. Exercises like this are part of the training for students at Studio Balloné.
