It's been a year since I've been formally diagnosed as autistic and ADHD! As an actually autistic and ADHD children's book author and artist I aim to share my journey of discovering my neurodivergence. In this video, I recount my first year diagnosed, discovering accommodation, what's changed, what got easier, what got harder and surprises I didn't expect. I hope to shed light on the experiences of autistic adults, especially women who were long believed to not be able to be autistic (along with other minorities), and contribute to the broader conversation about autism diagnosis stories.
