After spending several episodes preparing basic processes, we have finally reached the era of electricity and Gregtech machines. For now, we are starting with the most basic machines, but even so, the improvement will be enormous. Our first mission in this episode will be to establish the first electricity generation system. For this, we'll use a generator coil along with carbon brushes from the Create mod. The idea is to create a kind of dynamo using magnets that we'll upgrade to generate more and more energy. The most basic magnets will be magnetite blocks, with a magnetic strength of 1. We'll then move on to redstone magnets, which have a strength of 2, followed by layered magnets with a strength of 4, and finally fluxed magnets with a strength of 8. For electrical storage, we'll start with a redstone flux cell, which will give us a buffer of 1 million RF. This will allow us to comfortably power the machines we're going to build. However, as we saw in the previous episode, we need to place an energy converter because RF energy is useless to us since the energy used by the Gregtech machines is in the EU. Once all this is sorted, we'll craft the first machines, such as the basic alloy smelter, which will allow us to make all kinds of alloys; the polarizer, which will allow us to magnetize metals; the bender, which will allow us to make all kinds of plates, including steel plates using only one ingot; and finally, the lathe, a machine with which we can make rods. Making them with this machine also doubles the results, so we'll be much more efficient from now on.
