💈 Inside Tokyo's Legendary Train-Themed Barbershop For A Hot Towel Shave 🇯🇵 We are back with the Station Master at BB Tsubame for a relaxing hot towel shave ✨ Mr. Watanabe has been barbering for over 35 years. As a second-generation barber, growing up around his parents' shop got him interested in barbering at a young age. What he remembers is that his parents always seemed like they were having fun working ❤️ So when he tried barbering, he had fun too! 💈😊 He opened his shop in 2005 and calls himself the Station Master 🎩 Mr. Watanabe wanted a shop that was unique and one of a kind, and he has been interested in trains since he was a child 🚞 ▶️ Watch the Scissor Haircut, Hair Wash & Massage we filmed at BB Tsubame here👇🏼    • 💈 Inside Japan's Incredible Train-Themed B...   He says he likes train stations because "it is a place to meet and part (hello and farewell)." He wanted his shop to have that same atmosphere, where every customer brings a new encounter. When he named the shop, he chose the name of a train that used to run on the Tokaido Main Line 🛤️ This express train now runs from Hakata to Kumamoto. Inside the shop, he still has the first piece in his collection he bought when he was in 4th grade. He saved up his allowance to buy a bulky old voltage meter. He recognized it from the electrical locomotive that was pulling a night train that he got on for the first time in his life with his grandfather ✨ His family and friends weren’t sure if opening a train-themed barbershop was a good idea... Now over 20 years later, he’s still going strong 🙌🏼💈 🦉 His advice? Enjoy life!
