When I bought the car, there were no issues with the automatic transmission, but the Mercedes' restoration process dragged on for almost three years, and something in the transmission started to stick. After I started using it, problems with the automatic transmission surfaced, such as jerking during acceleration and slightly harsh shifting when cold.
