Kick Sub Generator Trick - Classic Mixing Technique With Free Plugins In REAPER
A classic technique! When I was in recording school I was shown that on an SSL mixing console you could route the test tone oscillator into a channel, and then side-chain gate it, triggered by the kick track. Every time the kick hits, a 50Hz tone is let through to enhance it. In this video I'll show you how to set that up without a patch bay, without a +$100K mixing console, using just the included plugins in REAPER. Thanks for watching!
