Ben perdona la infidelidad de Nina.Parte 1/2 (Subtitulado español)
Ben verzeiht Nina. I'm learning German and I especially like these German actors (Gisa Zach and Hubertus Grimm), so I've made a little personal tribute to them, hehehe, and at the same time, I'm practicing and checking how my German is progressing. I don't usually like soap operas, but I'm aware that soap operas are, in a way, a way to learn more or less about the lifestyle of the country or culture they originate from. Wege zum Glück (Paths to Happiness) is the title of the German soap opera from which these images are taken. It's actually a soap opera with four seasons (unlike typical Latin American soap operas, which only have one season with a single main couple), and each season has a different main couple. I don't know if it accurately reflects the reality of German society in its daily life (I'm sure it doesn't), but it comes pretty close, at least enough to give a basic idea. The images in this video are from the second season. For example, in this soap opera, you can see how, upon marriage, the man can officially take the woman's surname and is thus addressed by the rest of society; Another example is that the female character doesn't have the typical victim personality—super-goody, suffering from the male character's mistreatment or lack of affection, as is common in Latin American telenovelas. On the contrary, it's the male character who is the victim: innocent, completely devoted, the immaculate sufferer of her lack of affection. Furthermore, despite this character trait, the female character doesn't die in the end and receives her lover's full forgiveness, eventually marrying him (something that doesn't happen in Latin American telenovelas). This is because her character is perfectly justified by the, I repeat, excellent script based on real psychological behaviors. In this way, both the female and male characters possess a range of nuances that are nothing like the completely flat and unrealistic characters of Latin American telenovelas in general. I must emphasize that the acting of the two leads is quite good, and this, combined with a believable script (heavily based on entirely realistic psychological behaviors), makes it enjoyable. I found this telenovela quite good, despite the typical dramatic entanglements (too convenient and fantastical to be believable) used to lengthen the plot. However, as I said, the actors' good performances and the script make them quite watchable and believable. Another noteworthy aspect is that the female characters (all of them, both main and secondary) are not treated with contempt or discrimination for being unfaithful. They are simply treated as male characters are usually treated for this type of behavior. They have made a mistake, not an unforgivable crime. I do not own anything. For entertainment purposes only.
