The Machamoil Palace is located in Machamoil Bazar, Bagmara Upazila of Rajshahi. It is located just 40 kilometers northeast of Rajshahi Sadar. Gokul Babu was the landlord of this palace. It is said that he used to manage the western part of Bagmara from there. Since the king had no children, his adopted son Santosh Kumar Chowdhury was given the responsibility of managing the kingdom. He wrote down his property to him. Later, Gokul Babu's younger brother Indra Bhushan Chowdhury continued to manage the kingdom. After the death of Indra Bhushan Chowdhury, his son Bibhuti Bhushan Chowdhury managed the kingdom as the king. At one time, Bibhuti Bhushan Chowdhury sold the property belonging to the Machamoil Palace. After the death of Bibhuti Bhushan Chowdhury, all the work of the palace gradually came to an end.
